Western Victorian dairy farmer, Dave Conheady, hopes he can “make better decisions earlier” and fast track gains in traits that you can’t pick by eye by using genomic breeding values to complement his corrective breeding program.
He is an advocate when it comes to using scientific data to aid his decision making, and says he is always challenging himself to do things better, on the farm, at work or at home.
